First project: a scarf for a doll I started this project because I had these little balls of wool as and empty pledge. I also thought that this could be an easy first project for this blog. First I gathered everything I needed: scissors, knitting needles, a needle and one or two balls of wool. Next I had to try to remember how to knit. At first it was a little bit weird because I had knitted last time about two or three years ago. Anyway I did the amount of stitches I wanted to (depends on how wide you want the scarf to be). And then I started the knitting process: two knit stitches and then two purl stitches. I stopped when I thought the scarf was long enough for my doll. I had several issues with ending this scarf. At first I did not remember how to end it correctly and I did it the wrong way. 😄 Then I had to ask my mom for help. Finally with her help I finished the scarf. Hi! I'm a Finn who has many "good" crafting ideas but almost never the skills to do it or the patience to finish it. So I decided to do this blog for you other people like me. Also welcome you accomplished crafters there, now you have the chance to laugh at me and my desperate "crafts" big time! Here is a little more about me and my life. I am 17 years old and I go to upper secondary school in Northern Karelia, Finland. In my free time I often watch TV or avoid homework.
